Four teenagers have now been arrested in connection with the deadly Chelan Hills Fire after investigators determined that Roman candles fired from a moving truck on the Fourth of July ignited the blaze, killing a 69-year-old man, injuring six firefighters and destroying more than 100 structures.
The US Marshals Service announced Thursday that three additional suspects- 18-year-old Valentin Tabun of Tacoma, 19-year-old Mark Okhrimchik of University Place and 19-year-old Julian Mikityuk of Pacific- were apprehended in Western Washington in connection with the fire.
They join 18-year-old Michael Yakimov of Kent, who was arrested Sept. 2 after Douglas County Sheriff’s Office detectives developed probable cause identifying him as the primary suspect responsible for igniting the Chelan Hills Fire.
