One month later, storm cleanup continues in central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A little more than a month ago, storms ripped through central Ohio, with a tornado leaving a trail of damage across the south side of Columbus.

That path of destruction included several city parks and recreation centers.

The Barack Community Center remains closed. During the Aug. 11 storm, the building’s roof was torn off and left sitting in the parking lot; in addition, tons of debris littered the site.
