75-year-old man dies after driving wrong-way on I-95; 3 others injured in crash: FHP

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 75-year-old Jacksonville man died after driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 and colliding with two vehicles Friday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at about 10:59 p.m. on southbound I-95 just south of Park Avenue, FHP said.

The man was driving a van north in the southbound lanes when it sideswiped an SUV. The SUV came to a controlled stop, but the van continued traveling the wrong way…
