This Saturday, Sept. 19, Grievous Angel will host a “Dolly Parton Night Market” from 6 to 9 p.m.
“We actually had the Dolly Parton night market planned even before she passed,” said Amanda Kristin, brand media manager at Grievous Angel, who calls music the heart and soul of the restaurant.
“Dolly Parton is just a huge part of Grievous Angel, in general,” she said. “We knew in September we wanted to celebrate Dolly Parton, so we had it in our calendar. We had picked all these wonderful vendors. We knew that we wanted to do the Imagination Library and give back to the community and one of her fundraisers, and then just have a special, fun event.”
She said the market will feature local vendors, some selling one-of-a-kind items, and the restaurant will offer specialty drinks. Attendees can make a donation to the Imagination Library for the chance to win Parton and Grievous Angel-themed prizes…
