AUSTIN, Texas — A Texas Department of Public Safety officer was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in South Austin Friday night, according to the Austin Police Department.
APD Watch Command confirmed the officer was struck in the area of South Congress Avenue and Ben White Boulevard.
