All three suspects in a carjacking that proved fatal for an 80-year-old man grabbing dinner will serve years behind bars, Texas authorities announced.
Miguel Acosta, 20, was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated robbery earlier this year, according to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.
Acosta’s co-defendant, 19-year-old Zachariah Aguirre, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of 80-year-old Larry Brister, the agency added. The third defendant, Gabriel Urbano, also 19, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and was sentenced to 20 years in prison…
