A few weeks ago, I fell down a rabbit hole on YouTube. There was a video that wasn’t normally in my feed, and I clicked on it. Since then, I have watched dozens of videos on building Gundam models.
I still have no idea what a Gundam is, but I do know that I very much enjoy watching these model builds. So much so that I decided that I was going to build one myself.
A YouTube Rabbit Hole Led Me to Gundam Models
There are a couple of places to get these types of plastic models in Northern Colorado, but I wanted the full hobby shop experience. So I did what any person with a smartphone does and looked up a big hobby shop. This led me on a trip down to Westminster to arguably one of the best hobby shops anywhere close to Northern Colorado.
HobbyTown USA in Westminster is a paradise for anyone who loves to build models, race RC cars, or collect items like LEGO. Dozens of aisles fill the space with endless creativity.
