Stayton, Ore — STAYTON, Ore. — A 48-year-old Stayton man was arrested early Saturday after a shooting Friday evening near Fifth Avenue and Santiam Street, police said.
Dispatchers received a 911 call reporting an altercation at about 5:35 p.m. Sept. 18. The call was upgraded to shots fired one minute later, and officers arrived at 5:37 p.m., immediately requesting medical aid.
An adult male victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital with a gunshot wound. Police did not release his condition…
