Woods of Terror plans for permanent memorial to honor beloved family member

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Woods of Terror, an outdoor haunted attraction and Halloween theme park located in Greensboro, is planning a memorial for an employee who died on Sept. 11.

Woods of Terror owners Eddie and Peggy McLaurin released a statement on Facebook on Saturday stating they are creating a permanent memorial to honor Laurie Lynn Casola, 66, who died following a cardiac event that occurred on the Woods of Terror grounds located near the 5600 block of North Church Street in Greensboro.

In her honor, the Woods of Terror owners are creating a memorial where Casola’s friends, coworkers, guests and everyone whose life she touched can come together to remember and celebrate her life, the Facebook post stated.

The memorial will be located on the backside of the Wolf photo op, directly across from Cyclones and Midway Munchies…
