A 28-acre brush fire in Mead Valley that injured two people, one critically, was 50% contained Saturday, officials said.
A vehicle fire broke out around 7:50 p.m. Friday east of Gustin Lane and south of Cajalco Road and spread to surrounding vegetation in the unincorporated community of Mead Valley, southwest of Perris, according to Cal Fire.
