WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The final full days of summer will bring warm and humid conditions to the Cape Fear, with afternoon highs staying in the upper 80s through Monday.
A few pop-up showers and thunderstorms could develop each afternoon, with rain chances at 40% Saturday, 30% Sunday and 20% Monday.
The calendar officially turns to fall Tuesday, and the weather will follow suit. A cool front will move through, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures with highs settling into the upper 70s and lower 80s for the remainder of next week…
