Potentially record breaking heat continues one more day, cold front moves in Sunday

ST. LOUIS – We have one more very hot day ahead before a cold front brings some relief to the region. We could see another record-warm day today, with highs in the mid to upper 90s.

Weakening showers could reach a few of our western and northern communities early Sunday, but most areas should remain dry. A cold front will begin moving through the region Sunday, bringing temperatures down a few degrees, closer to 90. Shower and storm chances will increase Sunday evening into Monday morning behind the cold front.

We’ll see a big change in temperatures for the workweek, with more fall-like weather settling in. Highs will be in the 70s, with overnight lows dropping into the 50s each morning…
