NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A youth-led nonprofit rooted in a Charleston family’s story of loss and love returned home Sunday, as Blankies 4 My Buddies hosted its Wrapped in Hope 9/11 Day of Service, honoring the late Navy veteran Ronald J. Wright.
Young people, families, veterans and first responders gathered at the North Charleston Fire Museum & Education Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to craft comfort items for community members in need.
