Louisiana Inspired is looking for its next class of Inspirit Award winners. Readers across the state can nominate people who are working toward solutions in neighborhoods, rural communities, towns and cities — work that takes extra effort by special people, demonstrating the good stuff of the human spirit.
Nominees can be any age — people who systematically go about doing their best to make the world a better place, whether in their workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, communities or across the state. Award recipients will be announced in December in the Advocate and Times-Picayune.
We recently checked in with three of the past 21 Inspirit winners, who each prove that the award isn’t about work being completed. Inspirit winners tend to continue efforts toward making the world better.
