We’ll raise a stein to this one. The area’s most authentic Oktoberfest celebration is back, and this one is even bigger than year’s past.
The German American Society of Pinellas is hosting its annual Oktoberfest the next three weekends in a row, promising “real German beer, food, and music — an authentic Oktoberfest with an atmosphere you won’t forget.” Festivities take place at their headquarters (8098 66th St N in Pinellas Park) each Friday and Saturday from September 25 through October 10.
Admission is $12 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. The celebration runs from 5-10 pm each Friday and 12-10 pm each Saturday, with each day’s schedule packed full of live music, great food, beer on tap, and some of the most authentic Bavarian culture this side of the Atlantic…
