MEGIS COUNTY, Ohio (WOWK) – Early-morning flooding in Pomeroy, Ohio, has forced residents to evacuate.
A Meigs County 911 dispatcher says many residents in the Pomeroy area have been relocated to the Meigs County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for their safety.
The 911 dispatcher says areas where flooding has occurred are:
- Spring Avenue and Laurel Cliff Road by the Fairgrounds
- State Route 681 and Shade off U.S. 33
- State Route 143 and Union Avenue
