Former Pitt quarterback Phil Jurkovec was arrested on Friday and charged with stealing a vehicle from Allegheny Health Network’s Wexford Hospital.
Jurkovec, 26, played his final season of college football at the University of Pittsburgh in 2023 after a standout high school career at Pine-Richland and time spent playing at Notre Dame and Boston College.
During his four years in high school, Jurkovec threw for over 8,200 yards and 71 touchdowns, leading Pine-Richland to the WPIAL and PIAA championships in Pennsylvania’s Class 6A in 2017. He was also named to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl…
