The Yorkville Police Department says a suspect is in custody following a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday evening involving two pedestrians in the 300 block of E. Veterans Parkway, or Route 34.
Police say two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. One, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead at a hospital. The other pedestrian, an adult, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
