A Baton Rouge attorney wrote recently that the Elon Musk SpaceX development was a good thing for Louisiana. It’s an interesting fact that among those who benefit most from projects such as this are attorneys.
The nondisclosure agreements that politicians signed before approving this project are explained by our governor as a way to prevent Texas or other states from knowing what Louisiana is doing. Why is this not being questioned more deeply, especially because it is clear that Musk has a history of buying his way into making trillions?
These projects bring to a community egregious offenses including noise heard miles away and disruption to community resources by way of costs forced upon residents, on top of the loss of value to property.
