SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A resident in the Sugar House neighborhood is looking to improve the safety of pedestrians crossing at Westminister and 1300 East.
Meaghan Kelliher spent a lot of her summer pushing a stroller around with her baby when her attention was drawn to the intersection.
“I had a baby in January, so I spent a lot of time walking around this area with my stroller, and I realized this summer on a daily, sometimes even hourly basis, I was noticing these near misses between pedestrians and cyclists and cars.”
