Pennsylvania State Police troopers from Fogelsville and Upper Saucon Township Police Department officers arrested five drivers on DUI charges during an overnight sobriety checkpoint Friday night into early Saturday morning in Lehigh County’s Upper Saucon Township, state police said.
The checkpoint, set up in the area of Route 309 and Center Valley Parkway, ran from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Officers also issued six traffic citations, made one misdemeanor arrest and issued two warnings during the seven-hour operation, according to a news release from state police…
