Jeni Jenkins was right in her letter. Zionsville can’t stay quiet about LEAP’s wastewater plans. Zionsville is still on the list of possible discharge sites, including near Carpenter Nature Preserve. Eagle Creek is where our drinking water comes from. This isn’t just Lebanon’s problem. It’s ours too.
Having a permit doesn’t mean the water is safe. It just means a company followed some rules. Lebanon Utilities will do most of the testing itself, not the state. We still don’t know who all will use LEAP or what will be in their wastewater…
