NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) has arrested a 15-year-old suspect in connection with the homicide that took place on a CARTA bus on August 31, 2026.
On August 31, around 10:41 am, officers and detectives responded to a CARTA bus stop on Carner Avenue after a shooting. Upon arrival, NCPD found a victim with gunshot wounds on the bus, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
