VIO Med Spa will enter South Carolina for the first time after signing a new three-unit development agreement.
The move is being led by entrepreneur Ted Loya, who spent more than 23 years with CVS Health in the company’s pharmacy benefits business. Terms of the agreement call for VIO to open in the greater Charleston area in 2027, with site selection underway.
“Charleston is more than a new market on the map for VIO; it is an important link in the East Coast footprint we are building,” said Ryan Rao, chief development officer at VIO Med Spa. “The city’s deep-rooted culture of hospitality makes it an especially meaningful place to introduce our brand because the guest experience matters just as much as the services themselves. Establishing VIO here strengthens our presence in the Southeast and positions us to carry that momentum into new markets along the East Coast.”…
