COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTAP) – Ohio gubernatorial candidate Dr. Amy Acton released the following statement calling for an emergency Ohio gas tax holiday Monday.
“I am calling for an emergency gas tax holiday to offer Ohio’s working families some relief. We are facing an affordability crisis in Ohio, from rising grocery bills to skyrocketing prescription drug costs. The average price for a gallon of gas in Ohio today is $4.52, and diesel is even higher, ringing in at $6.77. Ohioans are hurting.
