ASHVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) — Anduril’s $1 billion drone manufacturing plant in Pickaway County is expanding to begin production on a fourth product used by the U.S. military.
Anduril announced it will begin making a ALTIUS 600, another autonomous drone, at Arsenal-1 near Rickenbacker Airport. Anduril is already hiring for its newest production line, citing increased demand for the weapons. See previous coverage of Arsenal-1 in the video player above.
“Arsenal-1 was designed to give Anduril the capacity and flexibility to respond quickly to growing demand,” Kevin Kerr, Anduril’s vice president of production, said. “Expanding ALTIUS 600 production to Ohio is another example of that strategy becoming real.”…
