GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Saturday, the Wealthy Street Business Alliance and East Hills Council of Neighbors will collaborate for the second annual Wealthy Street Block Party, a free event for all ages in Grand Rapids.
“(Wealthy Street Block Party) is a chance to experience the creativity, character, and vibrancy of our neighborhood all in one place,” Jessica Young, executive director of the East Hills Council of Neighbors, said in a statement.

Taking place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Wealthy Street Block Party will include live music performances from local bands, an artisan market with over 20 vendors, food and drink options from local businesses and a variety of free kids’ activities, including face painting, a bubble station, the Grand Rapids Public Library mobile library and more.
“The Wealthy Street Block Party is one of those days when I can really feel the energy of East Hills,” Young said in a statement. “So many neighbors, artists, organizations, and volunteers come together to make it happen, and that collaborative spirit is what makes the event so much fun.”
