POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 34-year-old Mulberry resident was arrested Sunday morning after authorities said an unwanted late-night visit to a neighbor’s apartment escalated into a physical confrontation with law enforcement.
Andrew Donald Hueppchen Grapentine faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, a third-degree felony, and resisting arrest, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office were called to an apartment complex in Mulberry around 7:42 a.m. on Sept. 20, 2026, following reports of an ongoing disturbance. According to the caller, Hueppchen Grapentine first came by around 11:00 p.m. the previous night, knocked on the door, and said he wanted to “hang out.”…
