MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 17-year-old has been arrested after allegedly conducting a strong-armed robbery in Murfreesboro over the weekend.
Murfreesboro police say they responded to the incident on Saturday morning after the victim arranged to sell jewelry to the unnamed 17-year-old. Police say the teen tried to purchase with counterfeit money and then grabbed the jewelry from the female victim’s hands.
“When the victim attempted to retrieve her belongings, the teen allegedly struck her with his car while leaving the scene,” Murfreesboro police said. “Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured.”…
