According to a statement from Lassen High School music instructor Ben Wade, the LHS Drumline has an exciting opportunity to perform the national anthem at the Sacramento Kings’ home opener against the Los Angeles Lakers at Golden 1 Center on Oct. 5.
According to the statement, performing in front of thousands of fans, the LHS Drumline brings energy, pride and school spirit to one of Sacramento’s biggest stages. The performance markes a memorable moment for the students, giving them the chance to showcase their hard work and musical talent in front of a packed NBA crowd.
The Kings open their 2026–27 preseason schedule at home against the Lakers on Oct. 5, with the tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
