LUBBOCK, Texas — Jose Villarreal, 20, was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault after an alleged accidental shooting.
According to an affidavit obtained by EverythingLubbock.com, on Sunday, September 20, an officer was flagged down by another officer at University Medical Center in reference to a gunshot victim who was brought in by Villarreal and others. Authorities were advised by an involved party that the victim was shot once in his lower back while walking down the stairs of an apartment complex, located near the 5200 block of 114th Street.
