LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Saturday night near Scott and Markham streets in the River Market District.
Officers responded to the area around 8:46 p.m. Sept. 19. According to police, two people exchanged gunfire near the intersection. One person was struck and taken to a local hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Police said the incident began as an altercation involving juveniles and adults. Multiple shots were fired shortly afterward. Detectives are reviewing available video, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
