The Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force removed 62 cats from separate hoarding properties over a 24-hour span.

KFVS12 reported that 31 cats were recovered from a condemned hoarding property in Franklin County and another 31 from a separate hoarding property in St. Francois County. The animals ranged from young kittens to older adult cats.
“Taking in more than 60 cats in such a short period of time is an extraordinary undertaking, but this is exactly why our Animal Cruelty Task Force exists,” Humane Society of Missouri President Kathy Warnick said, per KFVS12.
Robyn Dexter, marketing manager for the Humane Society of Missouri, said, “The one in Franklin County in particular, they were all over the house,” KFVS12 reported. “You guys may have seen the footage of them in the car hood. They didn’t want to be caught. So that always is a challenge for our Animal Cruelty Task Force. But they made sure to get everybody out of there.”…
