VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas (KETK) — Two people have been arrested after allegedly robbing a game room last week and stealing over $8,000, officials with the Van Zandt County Constables Precinct 4 said.
The robbery took place on the morning of Sept. 11, when Labryson Orange and Whitney Barnett arrived at the game room and threatened a clerk with a semi-automatic pistol, officials said. The pair then left the building after allegedly stealing over $8,000.
After the incident, investigators identified Orange from surveillance videos at the game room. The Smith County Sheriff’s Office also wanted him on an unrelated felony charge, and he was believed to have left the state to avoid prosecution.
With assistance from the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, Orange was found in Columbus, Ohio, and was arrested over the weekend. Barnett was identified shortly after the robbery and was placed under arrest on Thursday during a traffic stop in Smith County…
