STUART — Art enthusiasts can celebrate wildlife art and meet featured artists during a reception for the Society of Animal Artists Annual Exhibition from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at the Elliott Museum.
The reception will include an awards presentation, opportunities to meet artists, a cash bar and small bites. Guests also will be among the first to learn which works have been selected for this year’s awards.
The exhibition features more than 100 paintings in a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, printmaking, scratchboard, pastel, colored pencil and mixed media. At least 20 sculptures also will be on display…
