BATON ROUGE — A man is wanted following a fatal hit-and-run that left a 35-year-old man dead in July.
According to officers with the Baton Rouge Police Department, on July 11, around 1:20 a.m., a white 2012 Honda Accord was blocking the right lane of Scenic Highway as the front tire was flat.
The driver, identified as Travis Barconey, allegedly exited the vehicle before being struck by a passing vehicle. He was later pronounced dead on the scene, with the driver of the vehicle fleeing prior to officers’ arrival…
