SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Springfield City Council approved using up to $9.2 million in bonds to build a new fire station and expand part of the police department.
Voters approved the bond in 2017. The $9.2 million will be divided between the police department for a new evidence facility, the fire department, and public works for an administration building.
