COLONIE — There is a new redevelopment plan in the works for land at the former Hoffman’s Playland property on Route 9 that has been sitting empty since the park closed 12 years ago.
The new plan includes about 130 independent-living apartments, 52 assisted-living beds and 30 memory-care beds. The developer proposing the plan is Montgomery Street Partners, a Texas-based commercial real estate and private equity firm.
