The City of Hendersonville is celebrating a “milestone” on the road to raising the money to fund a major project to upgrade and reinforce its wastewater treatment plant, as it surpasses more than $72 million raised.
That represents a major portion of needed funding for the project, which is expected to cost at least $100 million, the city announced in a Sept. 22 news release.
