MIDDLETON — An Essex County Sheriff’s Department correctional officer was arrested after investigators alleged she brought synthetic cannabinoids and an unauthorized cellphone into the Middleton Jail and House of Correction.
Christal Dunston, 33, of Lynn, was arraigned on Sept. 17 on charges of conspiracy to violate drug law, two counts of delivering drugs/articles to a prisoner, and possessing drugs/articles with intent to deliver to a prisoner.
