CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — One of the men accused of murdering Lewis “Bubba” Garrett Jr., a beloved member of the McClellanville community, was denied bond Tuesday in a Charleston County courthouse.
Wesley Howard Gerald, 31, who was released in April 2026 on bond for failure to stop for blue lights and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, will remain in the Charleston County Detention Center for the foreseeable future.
