CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The woman who fatally stabbed a 17-year-old boy at an East Cleveland RTA station, was sentenced in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Tuesday to 24 months in prison.
In August, Geraldine Johnson pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and riot.
Jamir Peak was killed in December 2025 at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) Superior Road Station in the 13100 block of Superior Ave.
Peak was stabbed while trying to break up a fight between classmates.
