Gannon University is gaining national recognition.
Gannon is now ranked No. 219 among National Universities, a jump of 38 spots from its previous ranking of No. 257. according to the 2027 rankings. The university remains the Erie region’s only nationally ranked university.
The rankings also recognized Gannon’s efforts to help students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds succeed. The university climbed 23 places to No. 181 in the Top Performers on Social Mobility category, which measures how effectively colleges enroll and graduate students who receive Pell Grants.
Gannon’s engineering programs also saw significant improvement, rising 18 spots to No. 123 nationally among undergraduate engineering programs at institutions whose highest engineering degree is a bachelor’s or master’s degree and that have ABET-accredited programs…
