Bond set at $500,000 in New Philadelphia killing

Bond has been set at $500,000 for Paul Wayne Kinlaw, 26, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who is accused in the shooting death of Christopher Damron, 42, of New Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. Sept. 20 following a physical altercation between Kinlaw and Damron at the Damron residence, 238 Second St. SW in New Philadelphia. Two rounds were fired from a gun owned by Kinlaw during the incident. Damron was not armed at the time.

Damron died of his injuries at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover later that evening…
