FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A nonprofit that works to keep local children fed will soon be operating under a new name.
Blessings in a Backpack Fort Wayne is shifting to the name “Boundless Bags,” the organization announced Tuesday. The change reflects how the program has grown over its two decades of preventing kids from going hungry.
“‘Bags’ represents the programs that place essential resources directly into the hands of children,” said Jama Ross, the nonprofit’s executive director. “‘Boundless’ represents what we believe becomes possible when children have those necessities; the opportunity to learn, grow, heal, and imagine a future not defined by hunger or hardship.”…
