MADISON — Wisconsin’s dairy industry contributes an estimated $52.8 billion to the state’s economy each year, Agriculture Secretary Randy Romanski said, as he encouraged residents to continue supporting the industry beyond National Dairy Month.
Romanski said dairy farms, county fairs, the Wisconsin State Fair and World Dairy Expo help showcase the state’s agricultural industry while connecting Wisconsin businesses with international buyers.
World Dairy Expo, scheduled in Madison, will bring dairy producers, agricultural companies and visitors from around the world to the state.
