Nearly two years after Hi-Ho Lounge closed its doors on Halloween 2024, the legendary New Orleans corner bar and music venue will return to its original location on St. Claude Avenue this week under new independent ownership.
The new owners, Mike Davis and Melissa Politte, announced the Hi-Ho’s return Tuesday morning, promising the restoration of the bar’s original form as a community-centered neighborhood space.
“We’ve been looking for what we wanted to do,” Politte said, “and this opportunity presented itself and we were just so excited to have the ability to bring the Hi-Ho back.”…
