Crews respond to reported gas leak in Metairie

METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Crews with the Eastbank Consolidated Fire Department and Atmos Energy are responding to a gas leak in Metairie on Tuesday, Sept. 22, according to Jefferson Parish Councilman At-Large Scott Walker.

In a post to social media, Walker said crews are responding to a leak in the 3600 block of Cypress Street, where units are evacuating a two-block radius.
