New Orleans school and law enforcement officials are finalizing a deal to allow New Orleans public safety agencies to use a vacant 9th Ward high school building that was rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina as a permanent training facility.
The former Alfred Lawless Senior High School campus already houses the New Orleans Police Department’s training academy, which relocated there in mid-July, the NOPD confirmed Tuesday.
