SHERIDAN, Ore. — For Bruce and Helle Ruddenklau, the end of harvest does not mean the work stops.
The couple has farmed land in Yamhill and Polk counties for more than 30 years. They are now preparing their fields for the next crop, racing to get seeds in the ground before the fall rains arrive.
